The Freedom Township Zoning Board of Appeals meets as needed to resolve appeals brought upon decisions of the Planning Commission or the Zoning Administrator, particularly as they relate to zoning issues or variance requests, land splits, or site plan approval. Members serve a two-year appointed term.
Appeals to the ZBA include a mandatory $400 charge for costs associated with preparing for and conducting the meeting.
