Public Hearing for re-zoning of property from commercial to residential August 10th at 7:30 p.m.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. in the Freedom Twp. Hall (11508 Pleasant Lake Road) to invite public comment on an application from Secure Properties and Investment to amend the Official Zoning Map, under authority of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended, being MCL 125.3101 et seq.), to rezone:
(1) The former Pleasant Lake Inn site, which consists of approximately 9.95 acres of vacant land on the south side of Pleasant Lake Road at 11275 Pleasant Lake Road, Manchester, MI 48158 (parcel N-14-22-200-028) in the NW¼ of Section 22 from the C-1 (Local Commercial) to the LK (Lake) zoning district; and
(2) Approximately 2.52 acres of vacant land on the north side of Pleasant Lake Road (parcels N-14-22-200-005 and -006) across from 11237 and 11275 Pleasant Lake Road in the NW¼ of Section 22 from the C-1 (Local Commercial) to the R-2 (Single-Family Residential) zoning district.
