Pleasant Lake covers approximately 200 acres and is located in the heart of Freedom Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan.  It is a spring fed lake measuring approximately 1 ¼ miles long, and is situated at an elevation of 951 feet above sea level with an average depth of about 10 feet (max 36 feet).  Pleasant Lake has a drainage basin of 692 acres and waters drain to the Huron River watershed.

March 7, 2013 - A Wine Tasting Event will be held at Dan's River Grill on April 12, 2013, 6-9 PM, to raise funds for the Pleasant Lake Environmental Quality Initiatives Plan. See the information flyer for details.

February 27, 2013 - The Annual Meeting of the Pleasant Lake Property Owners Association will be held Sunday, March 17, 2013, 2-4 PM at Freedom Township Hall. See the information flyer for details. Dr. Kendra Spence Cheruvelil, Michigan State University, will be the guest speaker.

The 2012 Pleasant Lake Property Owners Association Annual Meeting was held Sunday, March 25, 2012, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Freedom Township Hall.
The guest speaker was Dr. Jo Latimore, who serves as a Lake, Stream, and Watershed Management Outreach Specialist in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. She works closely with Michigan State University Extension and Michigan Lake and Stream Associations to promote stewardship of aquatic resources.
